Eminent Singer Khurshid Alam Injured in Car Accident

Eminent singer Khurshid Alam was injured when a truck hit his private car on Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Bogra town early today.
The Ekushey Padak winner, Khurshid Alam, is currently undergoing treatment at Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, Prothom Alo reports quoting the hospital’s Director Brig Gen Golam Rosul.
The accident took place around 3:00 am at Charmatha on the highway when a truck hit his private car.
Khurshid Alam went to Bogura yesterday to join an award-giving ceremony of Joypurhat Kalyan Trust. The incident occurred when he was returning to his hotel after taking a tour to the city.
The truck driver managed to flee the scene.
The musician was hit on his head and face. He reportedly lost three teeth in the accident as well, adds the Bangla daily.
